We provide pre-designed home plans for sale with consulting. Consulting includes meetings with the Architect to help the Owner and Builder understand all the details of building that particular high performance home including value engineering and material changes.

To be completely transparent, we only modify our own design plans. We cannot take a plan from the internet and consider that as part of our “pre-designed” plan packages. If you found a plan online, the best place to start is with the original designer to make the modifications you need. If that is not possible, we would only be able to take that on as a fully custom design.

Interior modifications to our available designs are possible, however, any modifications to the footprint or overall height and envelope of the house would be considered a custom plan set. To keep things cost effective, the beauty of plan sets is to limit changes to items that do not affect the overall character and performance of the house.

Over the years we have had builders and clients ask us if we have a portfolio of plans to start from. So for the last 5 years, we have developed several starting options for people looking to build high performance homes in climate zones 5, 6 & 7 that don’t want to start from scratch.

We also firmly believe that high performance homes (and all new homes) need guidance through the construction process. Someone to be an advocate for both the owner and the building. We don’t believe in handing off the plans and saying “Good Luck” so our plan sets come with consulting during construction either by someone on our team if you are local or an independent energy consultant if you are not.

We are focused on designing unique homes that are environmentally friendly while conscience of their style and sense of place.
